Someone told me that if you don't blog within a certain period your entire blog will be erased. That thought made me shutter a bit....so as pathetic as this is, I am simply blogging a few sentences to keep my blog alive and running.
I have so much to say right now, but am afraid that if I begin I will be here for 2 hours and I really gotta get some sleep!
So here is my little bit just to keep this thing alive. I promise I will blog by the end of the week.
I will just add that things are great right now, including my beautiful P.J.!
Goodness do I ever have alot of catching up to do!
See you real soon.

Momma...I am the King of Rock and Roll
Yes...this is what PJ told me tonight as he was trying to fall asleep.
He said "Momma, I am the King of Rock and Roll just like Elvis...because I play my guitar all day so I am the King of Rock and Roll."
I said "O.K. PJ now go to sleep"
This was his 500th attempt to strike up a conversation with me tonight as he was trying to fall asleep.
Later after mentioning it to hubby he replied, "Maybe he is."...hubby is right. (as much as I hate to admit that AT ALL.) Hubby is right...PJ knows more about music then a lot of adults.
His new thing now is Brian Setzer. PJ can sing at least 5 of his songs from beginning to end and does EVERY SINGLE DAY ALL DAY! He still adds in a few old favourites like Johnny Cash, Elvis, Greenday & Chuck Berry now and again throughout the day, just for the flavour.
Everything he can get his hands on somehow becomes a guitar and a microphone, and I literally mean everything.
Aunt Jill recently bought him a little house cleaning set which included a broom, mop, dustpan and bucket. PJ LOVES to help me sweep and mop. That night after receiving this gift he insisted he brought the mop and bucket into the bathtub and of course...I gave in and let him. I went and got something to drink and when I came back he was sitting in the tub with the mop inside the bucket with the mop leaning toward his mouth and he was holding an empty shampoo bottle. He was playing his shampoo bottle and singing into the mop.
I laughed and laughed. But I was not shocked because everything turns into a guitar and microphone...EVERYTHING!!! He has quite the imagination, sometimes it is better then my own and I have always thought that I was pretty artistic.
P.J. was Elvis for Halloween. He was a gorgeous, perfect Elvis and he loved every minute of it. A perfect costume for him!
It consisted of a white bell bottom outfit with sequins down the arms and legs. A huge golden glitter eagle on the front of the shirt, an enormous collar, a golden necklace, eyeliner sideburns and black spray painted hair. He could have won a contest I can guarantee you and he played the part ALL THE WAY! The fake gold rings looked awesome too, but they only stayed on for about oh...6 seconds. PJ wasn't wearing rings, and I wasn't going to make him.
Well...Christmas is coming and I am thinking Santa is stopping here for sure. Minus the new throwing of things tantrums that PJ has been having lately, he has been a great little boy! I can't wait to see his face Christmas morning...or his Fathers for that matter. I think it will be a nice one for us. I happen to have 10 days off right before Christmas so it seems that I will be relaxed and able to enjoy every single minute of the holidays this year. I think it is a perfect time for a vacation.
A.R. and I went to see MADONNA live the other night at Ford Field in Detroit! What a friggen blast we had! To make a long story short...well at least I will try...
She was supposed to be on at 7:30pm.
A.R. and I grabbed 2 drinks before leaving downtown Windsor in shuttle. Once arriving and literally RUNNING to a toilet (after to convincing A.R. that peeing beside two cars may get us arrested), we then downed 2 more beers at a bar outside the stadium because we knew that:
A- we wouldn't be able to stand in line for an hour for a beer inside with so many people;
B- we knew the beers would be very expensive inside;
and
C- we knew we wouldn't be missing the show to go for a beer run.
SO once we downed the 2 beers at that 75-person-legal-capacity-holding-400-people bar we decided that since it was 7:20pm and there seemed to have formed a lineup to get in we may as well head in to get situated.
SO
We run toward the door, get felt up by....(was that a girl or boy A.R.?, not too sure what that was) anyway once they decided we had no guns they let us in and after telling the next guy at the door that we were there for a football game we RAN to our seats....oh ya, we ran to our seats after spending $70 on a shirt each and grabbing two more beers each. How much were 4 beers you ask? Not much...
only $30 friggen dollars!!!! INSERT HEART ATTACH HERE.
So...we finally get to our seats and we start talking to a few of the very many gay men around us and have a nice little chat. They seemed like nice guys. As we are chatting we are drinking our beer and low and behold the show has not started, and before we know it guess what??? We have no more beer left in our bottles. SO...its back to the money pit we go because of course we are thirsty, silly! So while we are at it we go out for a smoke. We decide on the way back from that smoke that since our beers are again almost done we should grab another couple since Madonna SHOULD be starting any minute.
So...we do just that.
And guess what?
We are sitting there and she still does not come on and we finish our beers.
O.K. so needless to say...we got a little tipsy, more so then we probably wanted to.
Not too sure how many times we made that beer trip.
And what may I ask happens when you drink 10 beers within a 3 hour period?
YES! YOU HAVE TO PEE!
So where are A.R. and I going DURING THE SHOW? Yes, to the washroom and since we are drunk a smoke sounds pretty good too. Yes, missing the show!
If you have ever drank alcohol you will know that a alcohol pee is much different then a regular pee. You cannot hold a alcohol pee, our blatters were full...so when we had to go, we had to go and whether it meant missing a few minutes of the ever loved Madonna, we had to do it! and besides we were drunk...who cares!!!
As for heading out...we were again dying of thirst so we spent our last $8 on 2 bottles of water that tasted mighty good. Something we should have been drinking all night I think!
We made it home in one piece...was thinking we may not have if that chick on the bus made one more comment. A.R. was convinced she was talking about her so she had her own comment to add. YOU GO A.R.! She was never one to put up with any crap!
So once again my adventure with A.R. was memorable and full of laughs and good times!!!
Thanks A.R. for making me another crazy memory! Love Ya!
By the way...what is next on the agenda? ;)
And oh ya...The concert was great!!!!

Its been a great summer!
We went camping, visited a few fairs, played at a few parks, watched the fireworks, sat through a couple parades, walked around Colasantis a few times, and enjoyed many a day in the backyard!
P.J. has been a great little boy and has learned a lot!
He made up a word and it is just adorable.
Vigovac is his new word...now, he started using this word shortly after his uncle came to borrow our ShopVac. He has had this fascination with vacuums since he was an infant, every time we go to WalMart we have to go visit the vacuum section and every time we look through the Wish Book we have to look at the vacuums and when I tell him stories at night I always have to include a vacuum story.
When it comes to vacuuming though, he runs away and tells me not to plug it in. He says its too loud.
Maybe he will be a vacuum sales man when he grows up...well actually, I am thinking he will more likely build one!
What a great time we all had camping. P.J. was a trooper and loved every single minute of it! One of his favourite parts of camping was shower time each night after dinner! HE LOVED IT! Of course this was his first time taking a shower and every night I had to bribe him to get out.
Now at home he has to take several showers a week, even if they are in the middle of the day!
He is adorable to say the least!
He has a couple new sayings along with his new made up word.
"I know but..." is heard quite often.
and he often asks a question starting with "Why?" and ending with "because".
"Why is that leaking because?"
Pretty darn cute if you ask me. His mind is constantly going, it amazes me.
Right now I am enjoying a bit of silence. His Nan just picked him up for a sleepover and I am looking forward to a nice dinner out with my hubby and a quiet evening and morning!
My keyboard broke months ago and boy am I ever having a hard time getting used to this new cheapy one. I guess it does matter spending the extra 10 bucks on a good one...this one is terrible. I am using the backspace button a lot because I just can't get used to the keys, they are too close together or something and it is driving me nuts!!!
My 30th birthday came and went. It was nice to have a few drinks and relax with some nice company. I planned to have a big ol' party but only a few friends showed up. I guess its my fault for not inviting people til the week before and not by a personal invite. I sent them all invitations by email and I am sure most of them didn't even see them til well after my party. Owell, I still had a nice night. And I still had my sisters here, ALL OF THEM! So that to me was a real treat, it isn't too often that we all can get together without our children...we were able to let loose and be ourselves! That alone was a good enough party that's for sure!
Well...I am thinking of signing off now. #1 my keyboard is pissing me off and #2 I want to start my kid-free day.
Take Care All and I hope your enjoying your summer :)

4 Months? Holy COW!
I can't believe its been 4 months since I posted last. Yes, I know, I have probably lost all my readers...and that is o.k. with me. I will win you all back eventually!
Alot has happened in these past months. ALOT.
I am now an Avon lady. Yes, you heard that right. An Avon lady.
Just when I thought I was going nucking futs with everything else in my life I decided to add a whole new chapter.
So I can now add "Avon Lady" to my list of names.
It is kinda fun. It gives me some "me" time while doing something productive. Not to mention all the great stuff I can get now! I always loved Avon and was spending a bit too much from my Avon lady, so I thought I would give it a try to see what I could do and WOW, its going great! P.J. is used to the idea now. He says "Mom is doing her Avon". Its is so cute. He even knows not to touch any of the products that I spread out across my kitchen table when my orders come in. That took some practise I tell ya!
In other news...
Hubby broke his heel. Yup! Please don't ask how he did it. Lets just say that he did it to himself and learned a great lesson. A lesson he should have learned years ago. He is almost healed and is actually doing a roof right now as we type! The crazy bugger! Only he would be roofing with a broken foot and cast!
He has been stuck at home being a good Daddy making me proud.
....
I just thought of something. I think that is the first time I ever said that. I really think he should know how proud I am of him. I don't say it enough...or ever. Sometimes it seems we are both under alot of pressure and our lives are so rushed. We get on each others nerves alot lately...it is probably from his lack of freedom. It is getting us both down at times, I could surely use a vacation from work and so could he I'm sure.
Well, he is almost all healed up so it should be looking up from here.
I just booked our little first vacation the other day. Yup, the R's are going camping for 3 nights! I can't wait. Hubby can't wait. And P.J. can't wait. P.J. doesn't really know what he is waiting for, but he seems very excited about sleeping in a tent!
Wish us luck with this one. I have to admit, I am a bit nervous with the whole idea? I just hope I am not chasing P.J. around all day and night with nerves out my ears! (new expression...like that one?)
We have to give it a try. Hubby and I usually go camping at least once every year and haven't since I became pregnant, so its time.
So I have all the reason to be happy right now. I have vacation time from work, my 30th birthday party and a little camping trip all coming up in the next little while. So, it should be a nice few weeks for us!
P.J. is doing great! A month or so ago he finally got his big boy bed! Thanks to aunt Jill who came by to help out! P.J. just loves it and has adapted very very well! All the worrying I did and it ended up being the PERFECT time to do the switch! A very proud day for me I must say.
Well...as I type I am thinking of a million updates that I could go on and on about, but someone is having a little nap which means someone else should be relaxing while she gets the chance!
Nice to talk! I promise you will hear from me again SOON! Promise! And one thing I have taught P.J. is that "A promise is a promise!"
So, I promise to talk again soon!
Take Care :)
by the way...I have no time to proof read, bare with me will ya?

Here Comes Peter Cottontail
The Easter Bunny just came here!!!
P.J. was so excited when he went to sleep tonight and I know the first words out of his mouth in the morning will be "The Easter Bunny Came.." before I even get him out of his crib. He knows what is going on. I've been pumping him up for it and he is excited! (so am I) He knows the Peter Cottontail song by heart and is just adorable singing it! I hope he sings it for years to come.
I cannot believe that I haven't posted in like 2 months. Wow. I've been busy, very busy. I think about posting all the time but can never usually keep my eyes open long enough. I suppose this is one thing that I figure I actually CAN get lazy with...since it isn't a requirement, I don't always do it. I need to bring blogging up on my top ten list.
Well, since my last post here are some of the things that I have been doing or that have happened in my life:

Well, since my last post here are some of the things that I have been doing or that have happened in my life:
- I quit smoking.
- I started smoking again.
- I sold 35 tickets for a dear friend's benefit dinner, managed to get a bunch of prize donations & sat back and very much enjoyed the final result.
- I became an Avon lady, a successful one I might add.
- I celebrated a 3 year wedding anniversary.
- I moved a new big boy bed and matching dressers into PJ's room...well, the big boy bed is downstairs awaiting the perfect time for its new owner.
- I taught P.J about a bajillion new things, one being to wash his own hair and another being him able to change a DVD all by himself.
- I have learned every single Raffi song.
- I dyed my hair dark brown with a few small highlights.
- I got pretty cool new ocean blue contacts. (and yes, unbelievably hubby did notice!)
- I bought a new fridge which will not be delivered for another week or so.
- I realized that all of PJ's clothes no longer fit him anymore.
- I got my taxes done.
- I realized how much I really do love my husband.
- I had a bit of a jab in the heart due to uncontrollable family matters.
- I attended my beautiful niece's 4th birthday party.
- I picked up a pretty cool looking bar for our basement for $15...yes, $15. Of course hubby loves it!
- I enjoyed 2 whole nights being baby free! Thanks MIL!
- I finally cleaned out my bathroom closet that was overloaded with crap!
- My Ebay obsession visited me for a few days...its gone again, thank God!
- I got very very very very sick with some kind of terrible flu that tortured me for 2 days. I had to call in sick, thank God my family didn't get it!
- I went Easter shopping...not once, not twice, but probably 3 damn times!
I think that's it. All that I can remember now anyway!
So if you were wondering where I have been, now you know.
If your reading this then you are a VERY faithful reader of mine and thanks for not giving up!
I wish you all a very Happy Easter! I know we will have a fantastic one!
Take Care!

And it burns burns burns...
Hi...It's me. Remember me?
Yes, its true. Every single time I get a free few moments I opt for a bath or a little time with my hubby rather than posting. I always think about it, but never think I have the energy to actually post. Maybe I should have made this my new year resolution...since the one I did make, I failed at miserably. Or lets say...(which I don't even want to admit to myself), that I didn't even TRY to succeed at.
Ya...I didn't make it public knowledge, but I had a plan to quit smoking. I am tired of smoking, very tired of it. I am tired of my chest hurting. I am tired of smelling like smoke. I am tired of looking at my son watch me through the window on the front porch as I am having a smoke. I am tired of the way I feel when I "need" a smoke. I am tired of it all.
Am I tired of it enough to quit though? I thought so....until the day came, and boy did that day come quick.
It is still in my thoughts every single day and I keep telling my hubby, a few friends and myself that I am going to quit, but I still haven't. My hubby and a few friends don't believe me anymore, but I still do. I know I am going to do it. I guess I just gotta wait til the perfect time. Whenever the hell that will be...dammit! I am still so angry at myself for not quitting on New Years Day. I was so damn convinced...which then led to utter disappointment.
I told myself I was gonna do it when we bought our house.
Then I told myself I was gonna do it on my birthday.
Then I told myself that I was gonna do it on New Years.
Now I am thinking maybe on my son's 2nd birthday. (note the "maybe")
I am loosing faith in myself and wonder when the right time will ever be. I am sounding like an alcoholic with these empty promises to myself.
Geez...this is sounding like a crack addiction isn't it? If you smoke or you have smoked, you know what its all about. Sheer craziness, really.
I gotta do it, and now I have just made it known to more people then I wanted to know. I didn't want anyone to know because I didn't want the pressure when I didn't actually quit. That alone should have been a sign that I knew I wasn't going to actually do it.
Maybe next time I make a date I should tell everyone, and risk the fact that everyone would know that I failed. Maybe that would be more of a motivator.
I am tired of thinking "I gotta quit, I gotta quit". Very tired of it.
I just gotta do it.
Anyway...(change subject here)
PJ is doing FANTASTIC! He is so smart, beautiful and just perfect.
We are thinking of starting a realty show called "Canadian Baby Idol" - because that is he...for sure! He is not yet 2 years old and probably about 25 times a day he grabs his guitar, strums it and sings Johnny Cash or Elvis. That's right, not only does he know a bunch of Johnny Cash tunes, but he now admires Elvis and knows the words to so many songs. Not to mention a few Willie Nelson here and there...
It really is simply amazing!!!
Here is PJ's lineup:
Ring of Fire
San Quentin
Orange Blossom Special
Folsom Prison
Walk the Line
Jackson
Teddy Bear
Hound Dog
Burning Love
Blue Suede Shoes
Heartbreak Hotel
Jailhouse Rock
Johnny Be Good
On the Road Again
PJ is live in concert every single day.
I am not kidding you. He knows these songs and sings them everyday. He amazes me.
He gets his guitar (real acoustic from Ebay), grabs the first thing he sees to use as a microphone and belts out any of the above songs at any given moment in the day. Usually his microphone ends up being the corner of the coffee table, an empty water bottle, the doorknob, the toilet paper holder in the bathroom, or the flag on his little people house. But, he will use pretty much anything that can be sung into. (guess what he is getting for his 2nd birthday? I surely believe that it is my Motherly duty to get him a real microphone for his birthday)
What a riot we have and what a riot he is to newcomers. You really should see the look on people's faces as he belts it out at the grocery store out of boredom and the music store when he sees all the guitars.
There really is never a dull moment around here and we love it!
He is his Father's son. There is NO doubt about it!
And I happen to be his Mommy!
Maybe tomorrow we shall work on his ABCs...
;)
